Dental insurance can be a valuable benefit that can assist you in providing you and your family the dental care needed.  Most dental insurance plans have a few things in common:

There is usually an annual family deductible, typically $50.

There are preventive benefits, for basic care like cleanings and examinations, that may be paid at  100% of contract fees.

There are schedule A treatment benefits, like fillings and extractions, that may be paid at 80% of contract fees.

There are schedule B benefits, for costlier services such as crowns, bridges, root canal and dentures, typically 50% of contract fees.

There is always an annual benefit limit, typically fron $1,000 to $2,000.

As an in-network dentist for the following insurance companies, your fees are based on a reduced schedule from my regular office fees.
Please consult your plan booklet for more detailed coverage information, and bring proof of coverage with you.  Please be aware that some plans, like Delta Dental Direct and Horizon BC/BS PPO Access are discount plans, and although some services for children may be covered, most services are your responsibility, although a a greatly reduced rate.
